A solar plant is a technical facility for converting solar energy into another form of energy.
Photovoltaic plants convert the electromagnetic spectrum of our sun “directly” into electricity. Core elements are the solar cells that produce radiation. When an electrically conductive connection between the charge zones is established, a current flows. At present plants with a peak power of several megawatts are built and operated.
The construction of a photovoltaic plant is being currently carried out in Brno.
The plant will be built on the acreage of 9.85 hectares.
The total volume of investment for the construction of the solar plant amounts to 16.300.000,00 Euros.
